Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish flamenco and pop vocalist. Since the age of 13 she is a part of popular music and flamenco. She also explores different genres such as hip-hop soul, Trap and. Her voice has been described by no less talented than flamenco musician Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp, but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer is her second album, made available in 2018, which was commercially and critically acclaimed. After Los Angeles, her debut album, released in 2017, was awarded an award from the Latin Grammy for Best New Artist as well as an Latin Grammy nod. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The release date was March 20th, 2022 following the performance by Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the only solo performer in her first appearance ever on the show. Motomami the album by Rosalia that has won three Latin Grammy Awards also made Rosalia the first female singer to receive an award for Latin Album of the Year be awarded twice.
